I use the Pro version but essentialy it's the same I believe. I suppose you have P3D set to high priority in Process Lasso? It was recommended in some guide. It seems that the issue has been solved by that. Hi jcorstjens, check out the advice from Patrice above. I am unfortunately not sufficiently skilled into microprecessors and processes to be able to trouble shoot this phenomenon. I am using the freeware version of process Lasso. I don't claim yet that the arrests are caused by Lasso, but I will certainly be more critical in using Process Lasso. To my observations the arrests were much less frequently and also were much shorter in duration (more like stutters). As the arrests were so pronounced I decided to switch Lasso off and continue flying. I also use Process Lasso for a long time now and tonight I also observed thast the arrests were simultaneous with the red line coming down in the graph. I had seen those arrests frequently in the past months, but never so long lasting, similar as you also describe it. Tonight I was making a flight with the F1 B200 (GTN750&650) from KBLI to KHQM. For instance, thresholds for memory can be set and commands can be prompted to change the affinity of the CPU, the working set be cut back, and the occurrence logged for review in case adjustments need to be made.Hi Thomasso, this is what I call true coincidence! Process Lasso has a Watchdog function in which the user can customize and set rules. The feature doesn’t force all memory from other programs, but rather politely requests specific programs, based on educated deduction of the best ones, to release portions of memory. SmartTrim is capable of freeing up RAM as needed to result in optimizing memory. 4.) Alt tab, and go back to Process Lasso and click on the 'Active Processes' tab. This feature automatically kicks in without any extra steps, once it is activated in Options, whenever the computer goes idle. 1.) Download and install Process Lasso: 2.) Open Process Lasso, go to 'Main' tab and make sure 'ProBalance' is enabled. IdleSaver is a great way to conserve energy during downtime to ensure optimum performance when actively in use. Games processes can be added to the program to reap the benefits of the exclusive power plan.īy visiting Options in Process Lasso the two best features that must be activated and can be customized, IdleSaver and SmartTrim are accessible. Applications hidden in the background can be disabled, eliminating the core parking and frequency control of CPUs, ensuring the desired CPU is able to run with full power and at peak performance. Gaming Mode 2.0 is a program unique Power Plan feature. Commands such as excluding certain programs from running, the independent core engine being run as a system service and a maximum number of instances per process being set, are all customizable to the user’s preference. ProBalance is a feature that allows the system to automatically prioritize, giving precedent to needed processes, to keep the system running when an abundance of CPU cycles are being consumed by a certain processes that may be hidden in the background. The two default algorithms worth mentioning are ProBalance and Game Mode 2.0. Actions performed by the software are logged, able to visually appreciate the results and fully understand the magnitude of its amazing technology. The power of setting permanent rules to automatically terminate certain processes eliminates the need to close out of the process each time the device is in use. I would just like to know how cpucores differs from. However, I have just been pointed at a program called process lasso which looks like it can do the same thing as cpucores, just in a less user friendly interface. Process Lasso uses algorithms to control computer processes with distinct and invaluable results. I have been using cpucores in conjunction with razer cortex and have gotten some good results, such as in gta 5 I am no longer getting dips into the 20s when I have a locked 30fps. The software was also deemed malware free therefore being labeled “Excellent” so that you are confident that you can work on your computer without the fear of obtaining a virus. Acquiring accolades, such as being celebrated as “Outstanding” and acknowledged by its counterparts, are well-deserved. Process Lasso is a process priority optimizer created for Windows byBitsum LLC based developer Jeremy Collake.
